Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How many people can come aboard Salt Therapy?
A: Salt Therapy is a 21' deck boat legally rated for up to 6 passengers (plus the captain). There’s plenty of space to spread out, relax, and enjoy the ride.

Q: What should we bring with us?
A: We recommend sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, drinks/snacks, a towel, and anything you’d want at the beach. There’s a cooler onboard to keep things cold and plenty of dry storage for your bags.

Q: Can we play our own music?
A: Absolutely! The boat is equipped with a 4-speaker Infinity stereo system and Bluetooth connectivity, so you’re in charge of the playlist.

Q: What about bad weather?
A: Safety is the top priority. If weather conditions look unfavorable, Captain Chris will reach out to reschedule or issue a full refund if needed.

Q: Are kids allowed?
A: Yes! Families are always welcome. We have life jackets for little ones and plenty of shaded space under the Bimini top.

Q: Can we bring alcohol?
A: Of course — this is your cruise! Feel free to bring adult beverages (please drink responsibly). Just no glass containers, please.

Q: What kind of wildlife might we see?
A: Dolphins are a regular sight, and we often spot manatees, pelicans, stingrays, and more. Bring a camera just in case!

Q: Where do we board the boat?
A: Most charters launch from a convenient dock in Belleair Bluffs. However depending on where you are located, we do have several other convenient locations for embark & debark. Exact location details will be provided after booking.

Q: Is your boat dog-friendly?
A: Yes — as long as your dog is friendly! In fact, Captain Clearwater’s mascot, Abaco Abbi, often joins the crew in her pink life jacket.

Q: Can we customize our cruise?
A: Absolutely. Whether you're looking for a romantic sunset trip, a family beach day, or a wild bachelorette float party, we’ll tailor your experience to match your vibe.
